How can you build harmony with your strong-willed child?  Listen to experts and fellow parents share their stories and tips to overcoming daily obstacles.

Things parents of strong-willed children say they wish they had known earlier.

In this episode of the Understanding Your Strong-Willed Child Podcast, I speak with Allison Livingston, a parent coach, mom, and certified mediator.

By their very nature, spirited children are afraid of being controlled. They hate to be told what to do. Their nature just sets us, parents, up with a conflict by using traditional parenting methods, which are the parent is in control at all times. When you realize that, this is their nature. Notice how amazing they are. They are perfect just the way they are. Once you can crack the code of how not to trigger each other and be triggered and take their behavior personally. You bring harmony into your parenting style and home.
